Bronx, NY—Lehman Center for the Performing Arts, in association with Fever Records, presents a spectacular display of timeless disco hits with DISCO FEVER on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 8 pm. This iconic event brings together a stellar lineup of disco legends, lighting up the stage with the music that defined a generation. Featuring performances by The Trammps featuring Earl Young, Harold Melvin’s Blue Notes, France Joli, First Choice, Hues Corporation, Musique, Lime, Fonda Rae, and Rainere Martin. Hosted by JOE CAUSI with music by VINNIE MEDUNGO.

THE TRAMMPS, Disco’s most soulful vocal group, was formed in Philadelphia in 1972, quickly gaining popularity with their hit remake “Zing Went the Strings of My Heart”. Their success continued with several chart-topping hits such as “Hold Back The Night”,“ Where Do We Go From Here”, and “Where the Happy People Go”. Their biggest hit was the Grammy-winning “Disco Inferno”, which appeared on the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack.

HAROLD MELVIN’S BLUE NOTES is a modern continuation of the iconic group originally founded in 1954 by Harold Melvin. The legendary Philadelphia-based group rose to prominence with timeless hits like “If You Don’t Know Me By Now,” “The Love I Lost,” and “I Miss You”. After Melvin’s death in 1997, the group, now consisting of Donnell Gillespie, Rufus Thorn, Anthony Brooks, and John Morris, changed their name to Harold Melvin’s Blue Notes to honor his legacy.

FRANCE JOLI, a French Canadian vocalist, rose to fame at age 16 with her hit single “Come to Me,” which sold three million copies globally and reached #1 on Disco charts worldwide. Joli’s accomplishments also include producing and recording a dance version of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah,” making her Off-Broadway debut in “My Big Gay Italian Wedding,” and releasing new singles “Don’t Forget to Dance,” “Fallin’,” and “Let Me Love You.”

FIRST CHOICE is a modern celebration of the trailblazing Philadelphia-based female vocal group First Choice, originally formed in the early 1970s. The group rose to international prominence with dancefloor classics like “Armed and Extremely Dangerous,” “The Player,” and the enduring anthem “Let No Man Put Asunder,” helping define the golden era of disco and soul. Known for their powerful vocals and infectious grooves, First Choice became a staple of the Philadelphia soul and disco movements.

HUES CORPORATION is a modern celebration of the influential American soul and disco trio The Hues Corporation, originally formed in 1969 in Santa Monica, California. The group rose to international fame with their chart-topping 1974 hit “Rock the Boat,” which sold over two million copies. Known for their smooth harmonies and upbeat, dance-driven sound, The Hues Corporation also found success with tracks like “Rockin’ Soul” and “Freedom for the Stallion.”

MUSIQUE is an iconic vocal group known for their classic hits “Keep on Jumpin’,” “Summer Love,” and “In The Bush,” selling over 25 million albums worldwide. The group was a studio project by Patrick Adams and consisted of five singers. Today, Musique consists of Carole Sylvan, Kimberely Miller, and Mary Seymour.

LIME is a Canadian synth music outfit from Montreal, formed by husband and wife Denis and Denyse LePage. Their instrumental 12″ single vinyl record called “The Break” peaked at number three on the disco chart. Lime’s debut album, Your Love (1981)  featured the #1 dance hit in the US of the same name. Today, Joy Dorris and Rob Hubertz continue to perform as Lime.

FONDA is a celebrated American singer and songwriter known for her influential role in the evolution of Disco and early dance music. Rising to prominence in the 1980s, she became a defining voice of the club scene with standout tracks like “Over Like a Fat Rat”, “Touch Me (All Night Long),” and “Heobah.” Her debut album “Touch Me” further solidified her place in dance music history, showcasing her signature blend of soulful vocals and electronic production.

RAINERE MARTIN is a versatile vocalist and entertainer known for her powerful voice and captivating stage presence. With a background spanning theater, television, and live performance, including a standing ovation on Showtime at the Apollo, she has become especially acclaimed for her electrifying tribute to Donna Summer, bringing the disco legend’s spirit and sound to life. Blending R&B, pop, rock, and country, Rainere continues to engage audiences with performances that celebrate music across generations.
