Cleveland, OH—–New York Knicks moved one step closer to their first NBA Finals appearance in more than two decades Saturday night, defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers 121-108 in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals behind another dominant all-around performance.

Led by Jalen Brunson’s 30-point outing and a strong supporting effort from Mikal Bridges, the Knicks seized a commanding series lead and now sit just one win away from reaching the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999.

New York controlled the game from the opening minutes and never trailed, continuing what has become one of the most impressive postseason runs in franchise history. The victory also marked the Knicks’ 10th consecutive playoff win, making them only the seventh team in NBA history to accomplish that feat during a single postseason.

The atmosphere inside Cleveland was filled with energy from traveling Knicks fans, who loudly chanted “Knicks in four” as the closing seconds ticked away.

Brunson once again set the tone offensively, scoring timely baskets throughout the contest while orchestrating New York’s attack. Midway through the third quarter, the All-Star guard scored six points during a decisive 8-1 Knicks run that stretched the lead to double digits and shifted full momentum toward New York.

Bridges added 22 points while continuing to provide elite two-way play on both ends of the floor. OG Anunoby contributed 21 points as the Knicks showcased their offensive efficiency, shooting nearly 56 percent from the field while knocking down 11 three-pointers.

Karl-Anthony Towns finished with 13 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists, helping facilitate the offense while anchoring the interior.

New York’s depth also proved critical late in the game when Landry Shamet delivered a huge spark off the bench in the fourth quarter. Shamet buried three three-pointers in less than two minutes, extending the Knicks’ lead to 105-94 and effectively putting the game out of reach.

The Cavaliers struggled to consistently match New York’s intensity and physicality throughout the night. Evan Mobley led Cleveland with 24 points, while Donovan Mitchell added 23. James Harden chipped in with 19 points, but Cleveland’s offense never found enough rhythm to seriously threaten the Knicks late.

The Cavaliers shot just 12-for-41 from beyond the arc and struggled to slow New York’s transition offense and ball movement.

Even a courtside appearance from superstar couple Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce couldn’t provide a spark for the home crowd as Cleveland fell behind early and spent the rest of the night chasing the game.

New York wasted no time establishing control, opening the contest by making its first four shots and racing out to a quick 9-1 advantage. The Knicks shot an impressive 12-of-17 from the field during the opening quarter and carried a 37-27 lead after one period.

Cleveland briefly fought back and tied the game at 50 midway through the second quarter following a jumper by Harden, but the Knicks immediately answered with a 10-1 run to regain momentum and entered halftime leading 60-54.

From there, New York never relinquished command.

Now, with a chance to complete another playoff sweep Monday night, the Knicks stand on the verge of returning to basketball’s biggest stage for the first time in 27 years.
